We are leaving for St. Louis in 3 days for Beckett's surgery! We are excited that it's finally here but also reeeeeeeally nervous. We know that this surgery will help Beckett but it will also cause a big set back initially, since his increased muscle tone will be gone it will be obvious how weak his legs are & he will lose most of what little mobility he has. To help with this he will go from Physical therapy twice a week to PT 5 times a week, plus OT twice a week & Speech twice a week still! He's gonna be busy!
I'll try to post another update after surgery to let everyone know how things are going. If everything goes according to plan he will have surgery on Thursday & then get to go home Tuesday night.
Thank you to everyone who's donated, prayed & helped in any way to get us to this point. We ask that everyone continue to pray for a successful surgery & smooth recovery. Below are some pics from a fundraising dinner that Patrick's mom, Sulynn & her family/friends, helped organize. Everyone worked really hard & it was a huge success! THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who came &/or helped with it!!!

I will be praying for you guys this week!!! I know this has to be a tough decision, but it sounds like this is the best thing for him. I will be watching for a status update on him! :)
